Short Passing Puck Support

Conceptual to teaching short passes and positioning for Puck Support. Divide the ice into 4 offensive support columns. Players move from one column to another to support the puck. Passes are short, 1 or 2 columns away. Pass along a column only when along the boards. Players should visualize moving to where the puck is going to be in order to create passing opportunities. Players move to support the puck so that there are always at least 2 passing options for the puck carrier in adjacent support columns.
