Jewel Quest III Iceland Hekla Gold Quest

Another step-by-step for Hekla from Jewel Quest 3 -expand here for strategy ! Two main things to do if you want to finish this board : 1. A perfect start : to identical jewels at the bottom of each of the outermost columns 2. Understand how to swap the warming jewel when you need it for melting the lowest frozen jewels . Hekla is surely the hardest level in Jewel Quest 3 ; just for the fun , I've recorded a second game .Never give up - just watch the end !!! Iceland region layouts introduce warming jewels as special jewels . Note that you can make matches with the jewels inside of iceblocks, but it won't remove the ice. Remember you don't need an exact match to line up a warming jewel with an iceblock- as soon as you're one square away, you can just slide it over. Remember that you'll never get more than 5 warming jewels at the same time on the board - you might need to match some of them in order to obtain new ones better placed . Restart the board until you have two jewels of the same color at the bottom of each of the outermost columns ( you may need to restart it 20-30 times but be patient, the board is almost impossible to finish otherwise as time's too short ) ! Do not match the bottom jewels before they are unfrozen . Begin by working on one side to quickly melt the iced blocks .At the beginning you need warming jewels on the first or the second columns .It's better to melt the superiour iceblock first THEN the second one .This trick will avoid accidental matches ...
